The previous website referred to ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, blockchain certificates and numerical uncertainty figures. Those statements are not repeated here.
Traceable calibration, including stated measurement uncertainty, is confirmed per job. Accredited calibration to ISO/IEC 17025 is planned as a single SADCAS arrangement covering the Lusaka laboratory, a proposed Nairobi laboratory location, and client-site calibration, subject to SADCAS approval. It is not claimed until SADCAS grants it.
Calibration may be performed at a permanent laboratory location or at the client’s premises. Client-site work is included in the planned accreditation only where SADCAS approves it.
